HISD seeks input for Employee Portal redesign

HISD is always seeking to improve the employee experience, which is why we are in the initial stages of redesigning the Employee Portal.
However, we first must understand how you use the current portal and what changes you would like to see in a new and improved version.

Responses are anonymous and the information gathered will be vital when designing and maintaining a new Employee Portal which serves the needs of all our employees.

Question #5: What is your current role at HISD? — There isn’t an option for campus support staff, or “other.” I, unfortunately, had to select the “teacher” choice just to submit my survey, and wouldn’t want the data to reflect inaccurate results of what teachers want/need.
Thanks for letting us know, Mr. Solomon. The web team has updated the roles list to include an “other” option. We apologize for the oversight.
I think it needs to be easier to change up, where my paycheck goes. In other words – a self-service way of doing it, so I don’t have to send in a form to do it.
I like the website but it is hard too access the employee portal and too access your pay statement online.
Why have there been an change to viewing your checkstubs? Before we were able to login directly just with our password now you have to login into people pc soft ..It was just fine before ,now it is more complicated to log in the view information,,why a sudden change?
Am I the only one who has trouble searching the website? I search and often find articles I can’t even open nor do they have anything to do with what I was searching for. It can be very hard to find certain forms online. You have the number and/or know what the form is called, but can’t find it.
