Interim Superintendent wants to know ‘What’s Important Around Here?’

2016 April 7
by HISD Communications

Students. Continuing conversations. Instructional support. Empowerment.

These are just a few of the common themes popping up when Interim Superintendent Ken Huewitt poses the question, “What’s important around here?”

In an effort to give HISD leaders and employees another voice to provide their input, Huewitt recently went to Sharpstown High School and asked the campus community to give their thoughts. Their responses were captured in the first installment of a new video series.

But the conversation didn’t stop there. Huewitt also asked HISDprincipals the same question before the April 6 Principals Meeting to gather their feedback in person and via Twitter. Read some of their answers below.

If you would like to join the conversation, tweet your response using the hashtag #HISDPriority.
