Complete your Health Assessment for a chance to win a gift card
The deadline for completing a Health Assessment has been extended.
How healthy are you?
Complete an easy, confidential health assessment on MyCigna.com and be entered to win a gift card! The deadline has been extended to December 7, and it only takes about 15 minutes. There will be a drawing after the deadline, and some lucky HISD employees will win gift cards up to $125, just in time for the holidays.
Earlier this fall, we launched the READY phase of our READY, SET, GO campaign to help you get healthy or maintain your health (see the steps to get READY here.)
Once you have completed the READY phase, it’s time to get SET to get healthy. Just follow these steps to better health:
- Get your biometrics done. There were dozens of mini-health fairs at schools and departments across the district in November where various health checks were performed, including blood pressure, cholesterol, BMI, and glucose levels. These are important key indicators of your health and will inform you as to what to do next.
- If your school or location did not have a mini health fair, this information can be obtained through your annual physical, or you can have your biometrics done at one of HISD’s two Health and Wellness Centers. You will need this information to complete your Cigna Health Assessment.
- The final step is to complete your HEALTH ASSESSMENT on com. After you log in, go to the My Health tab and click on the health assessment tile to get started. If you have any questions, you can call 800-Cigna24 (800-244-6224). After you complete your Health Assessment, you will receive a health score and the tools to help you maintain or improve your health. The more you know about your health, the easier it is to take care of it.
Once you complete your Health Assessment, you will be entered to win a gift card, AND you will be ready to start the new year with the new MotivateMe program (details to come).
