HISD wants to hear Your Voice in customer satisfaction survey

Your Voice is the annual customer satisfaction survey which allows parents, students, teachers, and the community to share their thoughts on safety, rigor and consistency of education.

The parent, teacher and administrator survey window is from May 1-30, and student surveys will be collected May 12-30.

Your Voice website

Last year, more than 125,000 people responded to the confidential survey. This feedback was used to identify strengths and to guide administrators when creating their school improvement plans. Results are also reported annually as part of the Board Monitoring System also known as the district “scorecard.”

Respondent’s answers are completely confidential. To ensure privacy, Houston ISD hired an outside global market research firm, RDA Group, to handle the creation, distribution and computation of results.

The honest input of all participants is important in guiding the vision of the entire district, so stakeholders are encouraged to respond during the survey period. Schools are being encouraged to create incentives to help bolster participation levels.
