Inspirational and emotional messages of thanks and encouragement flooded the district’s social media channels, including tear-jerking moments caught on video as students told their teachers how much they mean to them.

“There are educators, teachers, and nurturers. You are the total embodiment of these three things,” Sharpstown International School student Rebecca Ndeebe told her teacher, Elecia Brown-Robinson in one touching tribute. “Thank you so much for educating me to be the best I can, to aim high, and keep my head up.”
