Dr. Tabitha Davis named new principal of Billy Reagan K-8 Education Center

Dr. Davis graduated from Worthing Senior High School and earned a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Houston Baptist University. She holds a masters in Business Administration from University of St. Thomas, a masters in Education Administration from Lamar University, and a doctor of education from University of Houston.

Dr. Davis began as a business education teacher at the Ninth Grade College Preparatory Academy at Sam Houston Math, Science, and Technology Center. Next she taught dual-credit business education courses at Challenge Early College High School, where she was named Teacher of the Year and received the HISD Effective Teacher award. Dr. Davis also served as dean of students at Westbury High School and Young Women’s College Preparatory Academy. She completed HISD’s Principal Candidate Development Opportunity in the spring of 2016.
