Dr. Dana Arreola named new school support officer for the Northeast Area

Dr. Dana Arreola has been selected as the school support officer for the Northeast Area. Dr. Arreola is the former principal of McGowen Elementary School, where she led its transformation leading to a “Met Standard” rating.

For the last two years, she has been serving as principal of Clark Intermediate in Spring ISD. She has 18 years of education experience, including successful work at both the elementary and secondary levels. Dr. Arreola’s years of service include classroom teacher at Hilliard Elementary, literacy coach and secondary curriculum specialist for the Davis and Washington high school feeder patterns, and assistant principal at Hogg Middle School. Dr. Arreola holds a B.S. in criminal justice and an M.Ed. in counseling from Prairie View A&M, as well as a doctorate in professional leadership from the University of Houston. She will support schools in the North Forest feeder pattern.
