Go Texan Day returns on Feb. 22
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo begins its annual run at the Reliant Park complex on Feb. 23, 2013, and to celebrate its return to the Bayou City and acknowledge its contributions to public education, HISD will be observing “Go Texan! Day” on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013.
District employees and students who wish to participate are encouraged to come to work and school dressed in their finest “Western wear.”
