Build family, community engagement starting Sept. 10

HISD’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) department will be offering all school-based staff members details on how to effectively engage families and communities during a new fall workshop series.
Participants will learn strategies on how to partner with parents to link engagement practices to learning and increase student achievement.
Sessions start on Tues., Sept. 10, and cover topics such as “How to Start a PTA” and “Engaging Fathers as Allies for Academic Excellence.”
