HISD’s current longest-serving employee marks 55 years with district

Back in February, we made a list of the longest-serving employees still working for the district, and at that time, Dr. Johnnie Carter, a teacher at DeAnda Elementary School, topped the list with 54 years of service.

This week, Dr. Carter is marking her 55th anniversary with HISD, and to celebrate, we are including a link to her original I Am HISD profile.
