University of St. Thomas Bilingual Cohort

HISD has partnered with the University of St. Thomas and Houston Community College (HCC) to bring a bilingual cohort for current district paraprofessionals, who are aspiring teachers wanting to earn a bachelor’s degree.
The cohort was created to help prepare new elementary bilingual education and ESL teachers for the classroom through a
seamless collaborative process.

- RSVP to attend an information session on Wednesday, April 25 at 5 p.m. in the Board Auditorium at Hattie Mae White
- Bring two transcripts for review
- Request a letter of recommendation from your supervisor (principal).
