Teachers should register for the Elementary and Secondary Curriculum’s summer conferences
Elementary
Elementary Curriculum and Development is pleased to offer a wide variety of professional development opportunities for teachers this summer, including the HISD Elementary Curriculum Conference July 23-July 24 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Kingdom Builder’s Center. The sessions will focus on reading, writing, math, science, social studies, fine arts, and dual language.
Teachers and campus leaders should register in OneSource for each selected half and/or full day sessions. Session descriptions, details, and OneSource registration numbers can be found here.
Secondary
There are many opportunities for rich professional development this summer for secondary leaders and teachers, especially in the area of literacy. Teachers are encouraged to join the Secondary Curriculum and Development for their summer learning conference on July 23-24.
