Apply now for the Campus Leadership Internship Program
HISD is seeking qualified internship candidates who would like to become campus leaders in the district next school year. The 2020-2021 HISD Campus Leadership Internship is a one-year paid residency that includes a $15,000 scholarship to the University of Houston for a master’s degree.
A virtual information session will be held on April 28 from 5 to 6 p.m.
Candidates should but are not required to have five years of teaching experience. A recommendation from a campus principal and a school support officer will be required.
Candidates must demonstrate strong evidence of effective teacher leadership, measurable student achievement, effective problem-solving, and more.

Also needed are mentor principals who wish to serve as mentors for principal interns. Informational sessions for these candidates take place on April 12 and April 14 from 4 to 5 p.m.
