HISD employees eligible for a scholarship at Grand Canyon University
HISD employees are eligible for a scholarship at Grand Canyon University to earn a bachelor, master, certificate, or doctoral degree online.
HISD is a participant in Grand Canyon University’s “Participants in Learning, Leading and Serving” program (PLLS), which provides members of our school community the opportunity to earn a bachelor, master, or doctoral degree online and receive a scholarship.
- 10% scholarship for HISD faculty, staff, and governing board members (when combined with the College of Education scholarship, teachers will receive 25%)
- 15% scholarship for paraprofessionals and classified staff
- 25% scholarship for Cohort groups
- 5% scholarship for spouses of faculty, staff, and governing board members
- 5% scholarship for students’ parents for degrees related to the field of education
