Register now for the Seventh Annual Special Education Conference, “Making Sense With Numbers: Measuring Performance Data for Quality Outcomes for Students With Disabilities.”
The conference will take place July 20-22, 2021, as follows:
Day 1: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (new and returning department chairs/leaders/SPED staff)
8:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.: Building Systems of Support for new department chairs/SPED staff)
12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Launch of Progress Track in EasyIEP (all audiences)
3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: N2Y Systems Navigation: Admin coaching for N2Y
Day 2: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (all HISD instructional leaders and staff)
Keynote Address: James Metoyer, Officer, HISD Student Assessment
Choice Learning Sessions
Door prizes and Daily Wrap
Day 3: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
8:30 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.: Choice Sessions (all HISD instructional leaders and staff)
12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Action Planning by School Areas (campus leaders and designees)
3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Conference Wrap: Reflection and debrief by school areas (campus leaders and designees).
