HISD closed in observance of Memorial Day May 27

Out of respect for all of the men and women who have lost their lives while serving in the U.S. armed forces, all HISD schools and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2013, in observance of Memorial Day.
All HISD offices will reopen for regular business on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

- June 1: Hurricane season begins
- June 6: Last day of school (students)

- June 10–Aug. 2: Summer Schedule in effect

- June 13: Board meeting (regular)
- June 20: Board meeting (budget)
- July 11: Board meeting
- July 15-19 & Aug. 5-9: HMNS Summer Energy Workshops
- August 26: First day of school (students)
