Survey: Teachers get most out of their mentors

In a recent eNews survey, we asked teachers which aspect of the district’s support structure has proven the most meaningful to them, and almost 43 percent said it was the advice and feedback they received from their mentors.

The second most-popular answer was a tie between “guidance provided by teacher development specialists” and “performance-based incentives (ASPIRE awards).”

“Feedback received through regular assessments” and “video exemplars of highly effective teaching” were in a tie for third.
