Fund for Teachers grant deadline is Jan. 28
Fund for Teachers is a Houston-based organization that believes teachers know what kind of professional development they need to help their students succeed.
That’s why every year Fund for Teachers awards grants to educators to enable them to develop skills, knowledge, and confidence that impact student achievement. During the application process, teachers design unique fellowships, and recipients receive grant money to pursue training and knowledge to refine their craft.
Since 2001, Fund for Teachers has invested $22 million in nearly 6,000 teachers, transforming grants into growth for teachers and their students.
The deadline for 2016 grant applications is Thursday, Jan. 28. Teachers can use the Fellow Project Search to see what peers did with previous FFT grants and visit a blog to read these fellows’ stories.
