Data-Driven Instructional Specialist Cohort Launch

The Leadership Development Department will host an informational session on a new cohort for those interested in becoming a Data-Driven Instruction Specialists (DDIS) at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 at Tanglewood Middle School (5215 San Felipe St., 77056).

This new cohort experience will focus on assisting campus leaders with data disaggregation and data action planning to inform campus instructional practices and collaboration with the campus leadership teams.  This opportunity is open to all aspiring leaders who meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • must hold a bachelor’s degree
  • meaningful job experience with PLCs and data analysis of formative assessment
  • proficient with OnTrack, Renaissance, A4E
  • advocate of data-driven instruction and action planning based on student needs
  • professional development experience
  • effective collaboration with departments and key stakeholders to support processes
  • quality data systems maintenance experience
