Information Session for Educational Diagnosticians
HISD’s Alternative Certification Program (ACP) will host an information session for teachers interested in becoming an educational diagnostician at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16 at Hattie Mae White, Room 1ED34 (4400 West 18th St., 77092).
Come learn about ACP’s two-year Educational Diagnostician Alternative Certification Program and how it will prepare diagnostician candidates to support students with disabilities across the district.
Eligibility requirements:
- Current full-time HISD employee
- Valid teacher certificate
- At least three years of teacher experience
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.0, preferable in a field related to education

Cost:

- Official graduate school transcript indicating conferred degree date

- Two current professional teacher appraisals (within the last two years) indicating an effective rating
