Green-Where We Learn Matters

Since 2005 HISD has designed and constructed all new buildings to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design or LEED standards. Not only are these building healthier for students and teachers, and more energy efficient, but the buildings are also used as learning tools. Today’s HISD students are learning that taking care of the earth’s resources will have an impact on future generations.
