HISD Within Our Walls Spring 2013

The Spring 2013 edition of “Within Our Walls” hosted by HISD Superintendent Terry Grier features stories on the district’s HILZ academies where students can graduate from high school with an associate’s degree in a technical career, refugee students in HISD, leadership in special education, and Harris County Sheriff and HISD almunus Adrian Garcia. The half-hour television program also takes a behind-the-scenes look at the district’s Food Services Deparment and its recent improvements to serve HISD students healthier menu items.
