Houston Firefighter Robert Garner died tragically battling a hotel fire on the Southwest Freeway. Since his death in 2013, his family has created a foundation to help young people with a desire to service as a firefighter. The Garner Foundation has generously donated textbooks to students participating in the High School for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice and Houston Community College Fire Tech class.
