Janite Grooms is an English and ESL teacher at Wisdom High School and is this week’s Star Educator.
At the New Education System campus, Grooms took on the challenge of making sure the new curriculum worked for ESL students, and her approach became the standard for the transition.
It’s that dedication and innovation that led to her being selected to be a part of the curriculum writers. Grooms was also named Teacher of the Year.
