Week of the Young Child April 6–12
2014 April 3
Each spring, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrates the Week of the Young Child to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs.
This year, that observance takes place April 6–12, and HISD campuses across the district will be celebrating with events scheduled throughout the week.
For more information about The Week of the Young Child, including frequently asked questions, visit the NAEYC Web site.
