Attention Business Operations Employees: Get rewarded for good attendance
Eligible Business Operations employees have the opportunity to receive up to $1,000 in additional pay during the 2017-18 school year in exchange for excellent and reliable attendance.
This incentive program is designed to make sure the district has adequate staffing across all areas of Business Operations and to reward those employees who make excellent attendance a priority during the school year.
In order to be eligible, Business Operations employees must be non-exempt and overtime eligible. Employees also must be hired as of the first day of the award period and be continuously employed through the last day of the award period to collect the incentive. The $1,000 stipend will be divided into two amounts to be paid out on Dec. 13 ($500), and May 16 ($500).
To qualify for a payout, employees must have zero absences with the exception of:
- Pre-approved leave, including local, state or vacation (requested 48 hours in advance). There is a maximum of 40 hours (5 days) that can be used per period.
- Jury Duty
- Subpoena
- Funeral leave
The program begins on Aug. 14, with the program divided into two award periods:
- Period 1:
Start/End dates: Aug. 14 – Nov. 19
Payout date of $500: December 13 - Period 2:
Start/End dates: Nov. 20 – Apr. 22
Payout date of $500: May 16
