EMPLOYEE FLU VACCINATION CLINICS
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend everyone over six months of age receive an annual flu shot, especially this year. HISD will offer free flu vaccinations to district employees September 16 through the week of October 20, 2023. In order to supplement the regularly scheduled sessions for each school/facility, a Saturday drive-through clinic is scheduled for September 16th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Hattie Mae White west parking lot, 4400 W. 18th Street.
Employees may utilize the flu shot clinics scheduled for their assigned work locations. Employees who are unable to attend their worksite vaccination sessions are encouraged to attend the Saturday drive-through clinic or one of the Hattie Mae White sessions.
