Adele Ramirez

This week’s Shout Out goes to Adela Ramirez, a teaching assistant at Mitchell Elementary School, for her outstanding work ethic and sincere compassion for students.

“Mrs. Ramirez is a jack of all trades,” says Teacher Development Specialist Bronchelle Johnson. “She assists with classroom support, technology support, clerical duties, maintaining records, and textbooks. She is an amazing individual, and is well-respected by students, staff, and the community. She goes above and beyond the call of duty, and we appreciate her hard work.”

I worked at Mitchell Elementary for 11 years as a teacher as an Instructional Coordinator for 11 years. Soon after I was promoted to the position of an Assistant Principal at James DeAnda Elementary. I also had the blessing of working with Mrs. Ramirez. She has been an inspiration to me through the years. Her even temper, authenticity and strong work ethicts makes her an HISD STAR:) I miss her.

Congratulations Mrs. Ramirez for a well deserved recognition.

There is no one more deserving of this title. Ms. Ramirez was always willing to help in any capacity. She never liked to be idle. Congratulations Ms. Ramirez. I will be visiting you soon.
Since my retirement I have been quite busy. Miss everyone at Mitchell.
