New MRG event to help Team HISD managers learn effective delegation skills

The Onboarding & Organizational Development Department is hosting a new Manager Resource Group event Thursday during which managers can learn more about the “how” of delegation on their respective teams.
The meeting, which is from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, will give attendees a chance to:
- Learn how effective managers can delegate tasks to their team to free themselves up for strategic projects
- Establish a method for developing their team members’ skills through the use of delegation
- Provide feedback on managerial experience and share best practices
The MRG event will be held at the VFW Post 8790, 1560 Foley St., 77005. Space is limited to 150 participants, so managers are encouraged for RSVP soon. Click here to register.
