Taipei students to perform traditional folk sports at HMW

A group of Taiwanese students will perform traditional “folk sports” during a special presentation at 12 p.m. Thursday, July 21, in the Board Auditorium at Hattie Mae White Educational Support Center.
The students, who are from Taipei and range in age from 12-14, will showcase their talents through traditional dances and music, as well jump ropes, diabolos (Chinese yo-yo), and other athletic feats. The students are folk sports “masters” who have passed demanding and strict training on gymnastics, dance, and marital arts.
All employees at Hattie Mae White are encouraged to attend the free performance.
