Have you been asked to update your school or department’s website, but don’t know where to begin? Are you looking to learn some new tricks and take the design of your website to the next level? The Office of Communications is here to help.
Blackboard, also known as Schoolwires, is the content management system HISD uses to create and maintain its websites. Blackboard open labs are held regularly at Hattie Mae White and offer principals, administrators and school staff hands-on training with basic and advanced concepts. Trainees will also learn best practices in web design and get help with their website content. Now is a great time to evaluate your website and start preparing for a new school year.
