Never Give Up-Alisa Hamilton, The Winner of the Green-Garner Scholarship Award

Bellaire High School graduate and East Texas Baptist University student Alisa Hamilton has worked hard to overcome tremendous obstacles to get a great education. Alisa believes in never giving up and leans upon her teachers, counselors, Godparents, and faith to persevere. Ten days before high school graduation Alisa was surprised by HISD Superintendent Terry Grier as he honored her with a $10,000 scholarship from the Green-Garner Award.
