The Houston Ballet recently treated 43 Brookline Elementary School students and their family members to a behind-the-scenes look of “The Nutcracker” by allowing the group to attend a dress rehearsal for the show at the Wortham Center.

“For almost all of the group, it was our first ballet,” said Theodore Wills, a Brookline multi-level reading teacher and community outreach coordinator. “We were fascinated to see what a dress rehearsal looks like. The dancing was beyond our imagination. The costumes were delightful.”
