Join HISD schools for the 9th annual Marching Band Festival

HISD invites the community and staff to the 9th annual Marching Band Festival from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Delmar Stadium, 2020 Mangum.

Thirteen bands will showcase their talents and have the opportunity to get feedback on their music, visual effects and performance from five UIL-level adjudicators. Bands will perform every 15 minutes throughout the festival. Admission is free, and concessions will be available for purchase.

Bands will begin warming up at 4 p.m., and performances will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the following lineup:

  • Scarborough HS: 4:30 p.m.
  • Lamar HS: 4:45 p.m.
  • Sterling HS: 5 p.m.
  • Sharpstown HS: 5:15 p.m.
  • Westbury HS: 5:30 p.m.
  • Chavez HS: 5:45 p.m.
  • Kashmere HS: 6 p.m.
  • Madison HS: 6:45 p.m.
  • Austin HS: 7 p.m.
  • Heights HS: 7:15 p.m.
  • Northside HS: 7:30 p.m.
  • Westside HS: 7:45 p.m.
  • Waltrip HS: 8 p.m.
