Craft and Transportation Job Fair on Sat., Aug. 3

The Houston Independent School District will be hosting a craft and transportation job fair on Sat., Aug. 3, 2013.

The fair will take place at the Barnett Field House (6800 Fairway, 77087) from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

HISD will be interviewing for the following positions:

  • Crossing guards
  • Custodians
  • DDC control technicians
  • Electricians
  • Grounds workers
  • HVAC technicians
  • Locksmiths
  • Maintenance repairers
  • Mechanic helpers
  • Plant operators
  • Plumbers
  • Police officers
  • School bus mechanics
  • Tree pruners
  • Warehouse drivers
  • Warehouse workers

All applicants are subject to verification of work experience, certification, references, and a criminal history check. Applicants should bring two forms of identification, along with their resume, to the job fair.
