They’ll be front and center stage at each of their graduation ceremonies in a few weeks, but on Wednesday at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in the Galleria area, HISD honored high school valedictorians and salutatorians all together at the annual Scholars Banquet.
The student scholars and their families, along with principals and others from campuses, came together to acknowledge the accomplishment of finishing in first and second place in their class academic rankings. Each student was presented with a medallion in recognition of their academic achievement.
You can learn about all the valedictorians and salutatorians here.

It’s a pleasure to be a teacher. I really feel just proud with our students who are getting skills for professional future society. I join my feeling with their families at this happiness moment.
