Be sure your children’s immunizations are up-to-date before they head back to school on Aug. 24, 2015. There are many opportunities to get free vaccines this summer, courtesy of Texas Children’s Hospital’s SuperKids Mobile Clinic and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Clinic.
Check out Texas’ minimum vaccination requirements to see which ones your child may be missing. When heading out to one of the mobile clinics, don’t forget to take your child’s immunization records.
In addition to immunizations, the mobile clinics offer sports and school physicals, illness examinations, health care and nutritional information, referrals to medical and social services, and even help applying for public insurance.
