The Houston Independent School District will host an information session for the general public and current HISD employees interested in becoming a teacher with the district.
You must register to attend, and attendees will receive location information once they have signed up.
Participants will learn what requirements are needed to become a teacher, how to apply for teaching positions, and what to do once they have been approved for the district’s “Teacher Pool.” This event is for HISD employees or potential applicants who do not currently have a teaching certification.
