Stacy Garcia has been selected as the new principal of High School for Law and Justice. She began her career in education 15 years ago as a bilingual teacher at Davila Elementary School and has also served as an instructional specialist at Law Elementary School, assistant principal and dean of students at Chavez High School. During the last five years, she has served as a secondary assistant principal at the middle and high school levels, including at Lanier Middle School, where she was responsible for providing instructional support to the science department that led to academic gains. She holds a bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Houston-Downtown and a master’s in Educational Administration from University of Houston-Clear Lake.
