This February, HISD’s Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department will host the HISD Parent Organization Expo, an annual event to inform and excite parents about joining or starting a parent organization at their child’s school.

The PTO Expo will include learning sessions on subjects like recruitment and retention, meeting best practices, financial literacy, fundraising, and more. The Expo will welcome guests from established HISD parent organizations and others to paint a picture of what it’s like to advocate for your child as a member of a PTO.

The PTO Expo will be held at Lamar High School (3325 Westheimer Rd.) on Saturday, Feb. 10, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
