Cornelius Elementary hopes to connect young students with computer science with a free Community Coding Night on Thursday, June 3.
The virtual event is free and is available for parents, students, and teachers who would like to learn the basics of HTML. Workshops in both English and Spanish are available.
Set for June 3 from 6 to 7 p.m., there are four classes available:
- Intro to HTML for K-6 in English
- Intro to HTML for K-6 in Spanish
- Intro to HTML for 6-12 in English
- Intro to HTML for 6-12 in Spanish
Attendees can learn the principles of web development from STEM professionals, and will build their own functioning website during the workshop.
