A new wing of Hartman Middle School will not benefit only students – the community is also welcome to enjoy some of its new offerings.
Hartman, a health and medical science magnet program, dedicated a new medical wing on Thursday. The area features a hospital lab where students can receive hands-on patient care training and a fitness center that is open to local families.
The medical and fitness equipment was donated by the Memorial Hermann Health System, which has a partnership with the school.

The Dedication Ceremony at Hartman Middle School will make such an impact that all schools in
the south area of Houston will benefit. We will have better programs to suit the needs of all
children.
Parents, get involved, participate to make sure that all children have an equal opportunity.
This goes to show everyone that partnerships with the right community leadership helps. Just make
sure you have the right vision for the right reasons.
Congratulations to the staff at Hartman Middle School and to those who believed in us..
The new wing will be a great joy to students in this program.
I would like to know if the incomin 2014-2015 eighth grades will be able to take the course?
If so how can they apply to be included?
Thanks and Go Pirates!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m not sure what course you’re asking about. As of June 10, the school itself was taking applications for students interested in being a part of the magnet program.
