Students in Jane Long Academy’s Futures Academy of Pharmacy Technology met with corporate representatives from Walgreens on Monday.

The Walgreens representatives toured the campus because the pharmacy giant is considering partnering with the school to provide resources, training, mentorships, internships and more.

After the tour, the students told the representatives about their experience in the program and had the chance to ask all sorts of questions about the pharmaceutical industry.

The Walgreens representatives also toured pharmacy labs at Houston Community College, where Long Academy students take classes in the evening once a week.
