Five students from each of the district’s 44 high schools participated in Academic Signing Day, which was held at the Region 4 Education Service Center. The students were recognized for academic excellence, overcoming personal obstacles or performing great service to their school or community.

Many of the students honored will be the first in their family to attend college.

This was the second year the district hosted the event.
