Principal Paula Fendley came up with an idea to create a poster featuring the school’s health teacher, who is more than 6 feet tall with a very athletic physique. He was to be featured reading his favorite Harry Potter book with the tagline “I like big books,” a play on a line from Sir Mix-A-Lot’s hit, “Baby Got Back.” After sharing the idea with an employee, the two came up with the idea for the music video.

Several staff members and teachers collaborated to write the lyrics for their version, “Baby Got Books,” and create roles, stage director and more. Eastwood previously worked with Furr to create posters, and Furr’s media team stepped up to film the video. Eastwood’s lead principal, High School for the Performing and Visual Arts Principal Scott Allen, had a cameo in the video.
