Christina Jordan has been selected as the new principal of Elmore Elementary School. She previously served as principal at Fonwood Early Childhood Center. Jordan began her 28-year career in HISD as a teacher at K. Smith Elementary School.

Throughout her career, she has served as an instructional specialist, mathematics coach, staff development specialist and new teacher support manager.

She is a native Houstonian and product of HISD. She has a bachelor’s in Business Administration and a master’s in Educational Leadership, both from Prairie View A&M University.
