Lea Mishlan has been selected as the new Principal of West Briar Middle School. She most recently has served as dean of instruction at Westside High School.

Mishlan started her career in Pearland ISD as a classroom teacher (5-6), school counselor (PK-8), and assistant principal (5-8). Her recognitions include Assistant Principal of the Year (2020) and the Educators in Excellence Award (2021). Mishlan graduated from the University of South Florida with her bachelor’s in Elementary Education and master’s in Counselor Education. Most recently, she earned her doctorate in Ethical Leadership from the University of St. Thomas.
