Meagan Edwards has been selected as the new principal for Fondren Middle School. Edwards most recently served as principal at Grissom Elementary School.

She began her career in 2002 as a third-grade teacher at Cornelius Elementary School. She also served as a teacher specialist at Young, Davila, and Hobby elementary schools. In 2017, she became an assistant principal at Woodson Elementary School. Edwards was the principal of the Year for the South Area Office in 2021. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Business Management and her Master of Education from the University of Houston.
