HISD’s Early Childhood team will be on hand to answer questions and advise parents on enrollment options in the District’s pre-K program at several upcoming enrollment events:
Pre-K Enrollment Event
Date: Aug. 6, 2024
Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: Madison High School (13719 White Heather Dr, TX 77045)
About: HISD Early Childhood enrollment representatives will be present to help with enrollment.
Pre-K Enrollment Event
Date: Aug. 9, 2024
Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: Milby High School (1601 Broadway, Houston, TX 77012)
About: HISD Early Childhood enrollment representatives will be present to help with enrollment.
For parents seeking to enroll their child in pre-K, the following documents will be required:
- Proof of age of the child
- Proof of residency in Houston ISD, such as a utility bill
For parents seeking free pre-K due to financial hardship, additional documents must be presented:
- Current pay stub
- SNAP/TANF case number
- Letter from employer
