Georgina Castilleja has been selected as the new principal of Clifton Middle School. Castilleja attended HISD schools and began her career in education as a teaching assistant before becoming a reading and English language arts teacher at Liberty Newcomer High School and Pershing Middle School. She has served as a curriculum and content specialist, manager of secondary ELA Teacher Development Specialists, and most recently, dean of instruction at Sharpstown High School. Ms. Castilleja earned her bachelor’s degree in English and her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from University of Houston.
